Description

Amelvi, a checkered fleece throw with sherpa reverse

Amelvi is a thick sherpa fleece throw blanket. The face is a plush pile printed in alternating squares, and the reverse is fluffy sherpa fleece with a texture of its own. You can pick which side faces up to suit the room or your mood that day. The blanket is polyester and machine washable.

Where to use it

Spread it over the sofa for evenings in or lay it across an armchair in a reading corner. It also works folded at the foot of the bed with the checks showing. When you're not using it, hang it over a blanket ladder and turn one corner back so the sherpa side shows.

Size and details

Type: thick sherpa fleece throw blanket
Material: polyester
Fabric and weave: plush sherpa fleece with a printed pattern
Reverse side: fluffy sherpa fleece, a two sided design
Care: machine washable; avoid high heat settings, soaking and leaving it damp for long

Care

Amelvi is polyester and machine washable. Here is how to wash it.

What you need: a washing machine

Wash the blanket in your washing machine.
Choose a setting that avoids high heat.

Good to know

Do not soak it before washing, and do not leave it damp for long.
Turn one corner back so the sherpa side shows against the checks.

Why You'll Love It

Put the plush checkerboard face on an armchair in a reading corner and it becomes a softer place to sit with a book.
Flip it so the fluffy sherpa reverse faces up, and the living room gets a different look from the same blanket.
Since it is polyester and machine washable, it can go in the wash at home after a movie night on the sofa.
The checks add some pattern to a plain bedroom when it's folded at the foot of the bed.
Pick black, green, red or yellow to go with the colors you already have in the room.

PLUSH CHECKS FOR ARMCHAIR READING

The checkerboard face is a plush fleece, soft to pull over your knees when you settle into a reading chair.

Amelvi is a thick sherpa fleece throw blanket, so it gives the armchair a thick, plush layer for an afternoon with a book.

SHERPA CORNER TURNED BACK

Turn it over and the reverse is a fluffy sherpa fleece, so the blanket has two faces to choose from.

Hang it over a blanket ladder with one corner folded back and you see both at once: the plush checks and the sherpa fleece behind them.
