Cesarno Rechargeable Table Lamp

$156.00

Two shades of glossy red give a shelf or side table a cheerful pop of color, even in daylight. Switched on, the wide dome glows softly from within, like a little mushroom lit up.

Put it anywhere, not just near an outlet: a rechargeable battery runs it, charged over USB.
No fumbling for a switch at night: a touch on the stem turns it on.
Dim it right down for winding down: stepless dimming lets you hold it at a low glow.

Description

Cesarno, a rechargeable mushroom lamp for tables

Cesarno is a broad white dome on a straight stem above a low round foot, 7.1 in (18 cm) across and 8.6 in (22 cm) tall. The dome glows warmly across its whole surface, so you see the shade rather than the LED inside it. It runs on a battery, so nothing trails across the table, and you charge it over USB. Touch the small gold round control on the stem to switch it on and set the light where you want it. The stem is glossy red over a deeper red foot.

Where to put it

It stands on a side table in the living room, on a nightstand beside the bed, or on a hallway console where no outlet is close by. The low foot also sits well on a shelf or a stepped surface. It is rated IP20 and not waterproof, so keep it to indoor rooms.

What you need: A USB cable to charge the battery.

Charge the lamp's battery with a USB cable.
Stand the lamp on the tabletop where you want the light, such as a nightstand, a side table or a shelf.
Touch the control on the lamp to switch the light on.
Set the brightness you want; the dimming is stepless, so you can stop at any level between low and full.

Good to know

Use it indoors only, since it is rated IP20 and is not waterproof.
The LED light source and the battery come with the lamp.

What makes it good

The battery lets it sit on a hallway console that has no outlet near it.
One touch on the stem turns it on, so you do not have to hunt for a switch beside the bed.
Stepless dimming takes a living room from full light down to a low evening glow.
The wide dome spreads the light across its whole surface, and the LED inside stays hidden.
It is wireless in use, so you can move it from a bedroom to the kitchen table and it stays cordless wherever you set it down.

Common questions

How is the lamp charged?

It charges over USB. Recharge it over USB between uses.

Does it need to be plugged in while I use it?

No. A rechargeable battery runs it, so once it is charged it stands wherever you like indoors with no cord running to an outlet.

Can I adjust the brightness?

Yes. The dimming is stepless, so you can set the light anywhere between low and full instead of stepping through fixed levels.

How do I switch it on?

By touch. The control sits on the stem, so you turn the lamp on where it stands and there is no switch on a cord to find.

How big is it?

The dome is 7.1 in (18 cm) across and the lamp stands 8.6 in (22 cm) tall, so it fits on a nightstand or a narrow console.

Can I use it outdoors or in a bathroom?

No. It is not waterproof, so keep it indoors and out of a bathroom. On a bedroom nightstand or a living room side table it does the same job.

Where can I put it?

On a tabletop. It is made to stand on a side table, a shelf or a nightstand indoors.
