Elsarvo, a wall light made of layered acrylic rings

Elsarvo is a round wall light built from stepped acrylic layers set one in front of another around a single bulb. Reflective spacers hold the layers apart. From the side you see open gaps between them, and from the front you see rings around a mirrored center. The lamp comes with an E27 LED bulb that gives warm light through the acrylic. The cord plugs into a wall outlet, so you don't need any new wiring. The light isn't dimmable, and it sticks 6.7 in (17 cm) off the wall. You can pick whichever color suits your room.

Where to put it

Hang it on a living room wall above a sofa or sideboard, or on a bedroom wall where you want warm light in the evening. A hallway or landing works too if there's a wall outlet nearby for the cord. It projects 6.7 in (17 cm) from the wall, so leave room for that where people pass close by.
