Description

Linavor, a stained glass double flower lamp

A low metal base with a leaf pattern holds two curved stems, and each stem carries a flower shade facing down, one higher than the other. Every petal is its own piece of colored glass, wrapped in copper foil and soldered, which leaves a dark seam around each one. Press the button and the glass glows, with light falling from the open bottoms of the shades onto the table and the wall. The lamp plugs into a wall outlet and takes E27 LED bulbs, which are not included. The shades come in pink or sky blue, both on a dark metal frame.

Where to put it

Put it on a side table by the sofa, a bedroom nightstand or a dining room sideboard, anywhere the cord can reach a wall outlet. Because the flowers face down, the light lands on the tabletop around the base. The lamp is made for indoor use and is not waterproof, so keep it inside.

What makes it good

On a living room side table, the colored glass petals add color even with the lamp switched off.
Switched on at night in a bedroom, the petals glow and light falls from under the flowers onto the nightstand.
Because it runs from a wall outlet, it can stand on a dining room sideboard or a side table near one.
You turn it on with a plain button and there is no app to set up, which suits a guest room.
It takes E27 LED bulbs, which are not included, so you can pick the bulb that fits the room it stands in.
