Lirmena, a single long arm wall sconce

Lirmena has a broad black shade at the end of a long, slender gold-colored arm that reaches out from the wall. The top of the shade slopes in a curve, and the underside is open and angled, which is where the light comes out. It takes one G9 LED bulb, sold separately. A knob switch turns it on and off, and it needs no app to set up. The plug-in version has a cord that goes to a wall outlet. The hardwired version needs a qualified electrician to connect it to the house wiring. The body and shade have a black plated finish.

Where to put it

Beside the bed, the long arm brings the light out next to the pillow and leaves the nightstand clear. It also works on the wall next to an armchair in a living room, or in a guest room with a small bedside table. For the plug-in version you need a wall outlet nearby.
