The head is a pale cylinder of travertine, pitted and uneven the way the stone comes, and it sits on a short black support over an elongated wood backplate. A hanging chain switches the Pull Chain design, and the Dimmer Switch design lets you set the level. The Plug In design takes its power from a wall outlet. Light leaves a recessed circular face at the front and lands as a small pool. Turn the head to aim it where you want the light.

Where to put it

At headboard height beside a bed it lights one side for reading. It also suits a reading nook next to a chair, and in a hallway or up a stairwell it works as an accent light. The Plug In version needs an outlet within reach of the spot you pick.

How to install
