Description

Lorvesa, a cordless lamp with a woven shade

Lorvesa has a slim gold stem that rises from a round base with a raised, flared center. On top sits a white tapered shade with a fine woven texture. When the lamp is on, light glows through the shade and out of its open top. It's cordless. A rechargeable battery powers it and it charges by USB, so once charged it can stand on a dining table, side table or shelf with no cord in sight. Touch the control on the base to switch it on and dim it. The body is aluminum with a gold finish.

Where to put it

Put it on a dining table for dinner, an end table beside the sofa, or a nightstand in the bedroom. It's cordless and runs from its battery, so it also works on a sideboard or shelf with no outlet nearby. Charge it by USB and move it from room to room as you need it.

How to use

Lorvesa runs from its rechargeable battery, so getting it going comes down to charging it and choosing a table.

Charge the lamp by USB.
Stand it on the table where you want the light.
Touch the round control atop the base to switch the light on.
Use the same touch control to dim the light to the level you want.

Good to know

After a USB charge it runs from its battery, so you can move it to whichever table needs light that evening.
Touch the base control to dim the shade to a softer glow later in the evening.

What makes it good

Powered by a rechargeable battery, it can light the dining table at dinner with no cord crossing the room.
Charge it by USB and carry it from the dining room to the living room as the evening goes on.
On a nightstand, touch the base to turn it down as the bedroom winds down for the night.
It stands freely on its round gold base, so it can sit on an end table beside a sofa or armchair.
Once lit, the white shade glows and gives a sideboard or bedside table a soft point of light.
