Description

Mavoreli, a crochet daisy blanket and shawl

Mavoreli is a crochet blanket made by hand from joined squares. Each square has a multicolored daisy in the middle with a cream border around it. Nothing is printed on it. The colors come from the yarn itself, which is 100% acrylic. You can see the texture in the raised stitch clusters and the open spaces between the stitches. Long tassels hang from the edges. It comes in two shapes. The long one is 31 × 59 in (80 × 150 cm) and can be draped over a chair or worn as a shawl. The other is a 47 × 47 in (120 × 120 cm) square.

Where to use it

Fold it over the arm of a reading chair, or lay the long size along the back of a loveseat. The square opens out across a window seat, and you can wear it as a shawl.
