Description

Menalvo, a slim rechargeable line of light

Menalvo is a long, straight LED light that fixes to the wall and shows as one clean line. Because the LED is built in, you never buy or fit a bulb, and none is on show. Once it is up, it runs cordless on a rechargeable battery. That means it can go on a wall with no outlet nearby, and no cable trails down to the floor. There are four lengths, from 23.6 in (60 cm) for a narrow strip of wall to 47.2 in (120 cm) for a tall one. At 1.9 in (5 cm) deep, it sticks out very little in a hallway.

Where to put it

Put it on a hallway or entryway wall far from an outlet, or beside a staircase, where a long length fills a tall wall. On a living room or bedroom wall it adds a second light for the evening. The shortest length fits between two doors.

How to install

Menalvo runs on a rechargeable battery and fixes to the wall, so there is no cable to run to an outlet.

Choose the spot on the wall where you want the light.
Fix the light to the wall there.

Good to know

Choose the 47.2 in (120 cm) length for a tall wall beside a staircase and the 23.6 in (60 cm) length for a narrow gap between doors.
It runs on a rechargeable battery, so there is no outlet to plan the spot around.

What makes it good

A rechargeable battery powers it with no wire, so you can light a hallway wall that has no outlet.
With the LED built in, you never need to buy or fit a bulb before the first evening in the living room.
Four lengths let you match it to the wall: 23.6 in (60 cm) for a narrow gap between doors, or 47.2 in (120 cm) for a tall wall beside a staircase.
Its 1.9 in (5 cm) depth keeps it close to the wall, which suits a narrow hallway where people pass.
A single straight line of light gives a bare bedroom or living room wall a simple shape.

A CORDLESS LINE OF LIGHT

Menalvo runs on a rechargeable battery, so it can light a hallway wall far from any outlet.

It is 1.9 in (5 cm) deep, so it takes little space in a narrow hallway.

THE ROD IS THE LIGHT

The LED is built into the rod, so there is no bulb to buy or fit.

It is one long, straight LED light, so the wall shows a line of light rather than a lamp with a bulb.
