Merisano is a slender rod crossed by a flat circular disc, with the rod running above and below the disc. Switch it on and the wall behind the rod carries a long band of warm light. The body is aluminum with acrylic, in black or copper. Power comes from a battery inside the lamp, charged by a USB cable. A touch control takes the brightness up and down, and an automatic shut-off timer switches the light off on its own. One lamp works alone on a wall, and a pair suits either side of a mirror.

Where to put it
