Description

Mevolani, rechargeable table lamp with tapered shade

Mevolani has a shallow tapered shade, narrower at the top, on a long slim stem that rises from a low rounded-square base. In Gold, one gold-colored exterior runs from shade to base. A rechargeable battery powers the lamp, and you charge it over USB. Once it's charged, the lamp can sit on a table nowhere near an outlet and go with you from the living room to the bedroom.

Where to put it

Put it on a side table in the middle of a living room where no outlet reaches, or on a bedroom nightstand or dresser. The low base also suits a dining room sideboard or a console table.

Size and details

Type: table lamp, rechargeable
Base: low-profile rounded-square base
Power: rechargeable battery, charged with a USB cable

How to use

Mevolani runs on its rechargeable battery, so getting it ready means charging it and choosing a table.

Charge the battery with a USB cable.
Stand the lamp on its base on a flat table top.
Set it on a table, even one away from any outlet.

Good to know

Charge it before you move it to a table away from the outlet.
It runs on a rechargeable battery, so you can try it on a bookshelf, a console or a dining table before you choose where it stays.

What makes it good

A rechargeable battery powers it, so a side table in the middle of the living room can have a lamp even with no outlet beside it.
Once the battery is charged, carry it from the living room to a bedroom nightstand.
In the Gold option, the shade, stem and base share one gold-colored exterior, which suits a bedroom dresser.
The low base fits on a dining room sideboard or a console table.
A slim stem rising from a rounded-square base suits a home office desk.
