Description

Milorsa: one globe on a tall pole

A single frosted glass ball sits near the top of a slim pole, and the rest of the pole runs down below the light. The whole thing measures 48.4 in (123 cm). Inside the globe is a G9 LED bulb, included with the lamp, and the frosted glass diffuses its light so you don't see a bright point. Power comes from a household outlet, and it switches on at a knob. The pole comes in black or white, with a narrow band of contrasting color running along it.

Where to put it

A bedroom wall beside the bed suits it well, where it takes the place of a nightstand lamp and leaves the table clear. It also lights a hallway that has no light of its own, and in a living room it adds a second light near the sofa. The floor below stays open.

How to install

The light needs assembly, and it runs from a household outlet.

What you need: the parts in the box, the accessory bag and the bulb that comes with the light

Fix it to the wall.
Fit the G9 LED bulb that comes with it.
Turn it on at the knob switch.

Good to know

Unpack the wall light and the accessory bag together before you start, so every part is to hand.
The lamp is 48.4 in (123 cm) tall from end to end, so measure that much clear wall before you choose the spot.

What makes it good

The G9 LED bulb is in the box, so you can light the bedroom the first evening you put it up.
Frosted glass wraps the bulb. In a living room that reads as a soft glow instead of a hard point of light.
It runs from a household outlet, so a hallway wall needs no electrical work.
A knob switch turns it on and off.
At 48.4 in (123 cm) it fills a tall narrow stretch of wall, and the floor below it stays open.

Milorsa black plug in wall light glowing in a bedroom at night, powered from a household outlet

ANY OUTLET LIGHTS IT

The light runs from a normal household outlet, which is where it gets all of its power.

It fixes to the wall and takes its power from that outlet, so the bedroom wall needs no electrical work.

SOFT GLOW NOT GLARE

The ball shade is frosted glass, so the bulb inside it is never a bare point of light. What you see is an even glow across the globe and a soft spill on the wall beside it.

It is not dimmable, so the light comes on at the same level every time you switch it on. The G9 LED bulb is in the box, so it lights the room the day it goes up.

TALL LIGHT OFF THE FLOOR

It is wall mounted, so nothing stands on the hallway floor beneath it.

The pole measures 48.4 in (123 cm) from end to end, so it covers a tall stretch of wall that a short light would leave empty.
