Description

Mirsavel, a wooden light bar that swivels

Mirsavel is a short wooden light bar with a plastic shade along one face. A ball mount holds it on a wall base and swivels a full 360°, so you can tip the light down the wall or toward a chair. The lamp is cordless. A rechargeable battery runs it and a USB cable charges it. You can switch it on and dim it anywhere from 10% to 100% with the remote or the touch control on the lamp, and the remote also sets a timer.

Where to put it

Fix it beside the bed in place of a table lamp, or next to an armchair in the living room with the light angled toward the seat. It is battery powered, so it also works on a hallway or stairway wall with no outlet.

Size and details

Type: rechargeable LED wall sconce with a removable, portable light bar on a 360° swivel mount
Sizes: light bar 5.9 in (15 cm) × 1.7 in (4.2 cm) × 1.2 in (3 cm)
Base: swivel base with a rotating ball mount
Material: wood body with a plastic shade
Dimming: yes, stepless from 10% to 100%, remembers the last brightness
Control: remote control and touch control on the lamp; the remote also has an off timer of half an hour, one hour or two hours
Power: rechargeable battery
Mounting: base fixes to the wall with adhesive tape or screws
In the box: light bar, swivel base, remote control, USB cable, mounting hardware, user manual

How to install

The light bar runs on its own battery and sits on a base that fixes to the wall with adhesive tape or screws.

What you need: The wall base, and either the adhesive tape or screws to fix it.

Charge the light bar with the USB cable.
Fix the base to the wall where you want the light, with the adhesive tape or with screws.
Set the light bar on the ball mount of the base.
Turn the bar on its mount to aim the light, then switch it on with a touch on the lamp or from the remote.

Good to know

The base fixes with adhesive tape or with screws, so choose the one that suits your wall.
Set a timer on the remote at bedtime and the light switches off by itself after half an hour, one hour or two hours.

What makes it good

Because a rechargeable battery powers it, you can put a light on a hallway or stairway wall that has no outlet.
Next to an armchair, you can swivel the ball mount to angle the light down onto the seat.
From bed, you can use the remote to dim it from 10% to 100% without getting up.
At bedtime, set the timer on the remote and the light switches off by itself after half an hour, one hour or two hours.
The light bar comes off its base, so you can carry it from the bedroom to the living room when you need it there.

BRIGHTNESS SET FROM THE BED

The remote switches it on and off and sets the brightness, so you can turn it down without getting out of bed.

Brightness moves smoothly from 10% to 100%, and the lamp remembers the last level you chose.

AIMED AT THE ARMCHAIR SEAT

The light bar sits on a 360° swivel mount, so you can tilt it to send the light down onto the chair beside it.

It lives on the wall, so the side table next to the chair stays free for a cup and a book.
