Description

Mirvesa, a knitted gingerbread plaid throw blanket

Mirvesa is a knitted throw with a red and white plaid ground. Tan gingerbread figures cover it, picked out in white. The figures sit slightly raised from the knit, which gives the pattern some texture to go with the color. The polyester is plush. It measures 50 × 60 in (127 × 152 cm), a throw size meant for the sofa or the end of the bed. You can bring it out for the holidays and leave it on the sofa through winter, and when it needs a wash it goes in the machine.

Where to use it

Drape it over the back or seat of the sofa, put it on an armchair in a reading corner, or fold it across the foot of the bed for the season. At 50 × 60 in (127 × 152 cm) it covers a lap or a sofa seat, and it is too small to cover a full bed.
