Description

Morlica, a branching vine of bare LEDs

Morlica is shaped like a long, dark vine that splits into many thin offshoots, each ending in a small exposed LED. When it is lit, the bare LEDs show as separate warm white points, and each one casts a small glow on the shelf or wall beside it. It runs through a USB cable, and you work the light from the 8-function USB controller on that cable. Because the branches are dark brown, the vine still looks like a decorative piece with the light off.

Where to put it

Lay it along the top of a living room bookshelf, across a bedroom dresser, or along a dining room sideboard beneath a framed print, wherever the cable can reach a USB port. It is a decorative light made to give a room a scattered warm glow and a little character.
