Nalesio Plug-in Wall Lamp

$287.00

A bedside light that lives on the wall, so the table below holds whatever you keep by the bed instead of a lamp base. Hang a pair and both sides of the bed match.

A wall light with no wiring job: its cord plugs into an outlet near the bed.
Light falls where you read: the dome shade is open underneath, so it shines down.
A simple on and off: the switch sits on its power cord.

Description

Nalesio, a wall lamp on a long arm

Nalesio has a shallow dome shade at the end of a long, slender arm. The arm reaches out from a narrow base on the wall and bends down near the shade. Because the shade is open underneath, the light falls toward the bed, chair or table below. It plugs in: the cord drops from the base to a wall outlet, and a switch on the cord turns it on and off. The socket takes an E26 bulb (LED, incandescent or fluorescent), which you buy separately. The arm and shade come in black or gold.

Where to put it

Mount one on the wall beside the bed, or put a pair on either side of the headboard. It also works next to an armchair in a living room or above a desk in a home office. Put it on a wall where the cord can reach an outlet. It's made for indoor rooms.

How to install

Nalesio is a wall mounted, plug-in lamp, so once it is on the wall it runs from a wall outlet.

What you need: an E26 bulb: LED, incandescent or fluorescent.

Fix the lamp to a wall where the cord can reach an outlet.
Fit an E26 bulb into the socket under the shade.
Plug the cord into a wall outlet.
Turn the light on and off with the switch on the cord.

Good to know

No bulb comes with the lamp, so buy one before you start.
It is rated IP20 and made for indoor rooms.

What makes it good

Since it plugs in, your bedside light can go on a bedroom wall where the cord reaches an outlet, instead of a lamp on the nightstand.
The long arm holds the shade out from the wall, leaving room on the nightstand or side table below for books and a glass of water.
You turn it on and off with a switch on the cord, whether it's beside a bed or an armchair.
The E26 socket takes LED, incandescent or fluorescent bulbs.
Black suits a pale bedroom wall, and gold suits a living room with brass accents.
