Description

Nelvari checkered chenille knit throw blanket

Nelvari is a knitted throw blanket, and the stitches themselves make its checkered pattern. Smoother panels alternate with ridged squares and raised, pebbled squares. The checks come from that texture, and the blanket stays one solid color: red or beige. It's knitted in chenille yarn and it's made for adults. At 51 × 59 in (130 × 150 cm) it's a throw size, big enough to drape over the back of an armchair or lay along a sofa seat. When it needs cleaning, put it in the washing machine.

Where to use it

Drape it over an armchair in a reading corner, lay it along the sofa seat in the living room, or fold it on a window seat or a bench. At 51 × 59 in (130 × 150 cm), it's a throw for a lap or a sofa seat. Folded at the foot of a bed, it adds texture to the bedroom too.

Why You'll Love It

In a reading corner, the knitted checks give a plain armchair some texture without a busy print.
It's a throw size, so when it lies along the living room sofa it covers your lap while you watch a film.
Each color is a single shade, so the pattern you see on the sofa comes from the knit alone.
Fold it on a window seat or a hallway bench to add pattern to a corner that has none.
When it needs cleaning, you can machine wash it at home.
