Description

Nematore, a flared metal shade on the wall

Nematore is a wall lamp with a broad shade that flares out below a narrow, tapered top, held close to the wall by a short arm. It is 11.8 in (30 cm) wide and 11.8 in (30 cm) high, one clear shape against a plain wall. It takes one E27 bulb and plugs into an outlet. There is no dimming and no smart function, so nothing needs pairing or programming. The metal is painted black or white.

Where to put it

Put it on the wall beside a bed, where it takes the place of a table lamp and leaves the nightstand clear. It also works next to an armchair in a living room, or along a hallway wall where floor space is short. It is not waterproof, so keep it to dry rooms.

How to install

Fit an E27 bulb.

Good to know

The lamp is 11.8 in (30 cm) wide and 11.8 in (30 cm) high, so check you have that much clear wall before you fix it.
It is made for dry locations and it is not waterproof.

What makes it good

One wall lamp covers a bedside, or the corner of a living room next to an armchair.
At 11.8 in (30 cm) wide and 11.8 in (30 cm) high, it stays a modest shape on a bedroom wall.
It takes one E27 bulb, so you can change the light by changing the bulb.
Painted metal, black or white, to suit a dark hallway wall or a pale bedroom one.
There is no smart function and no dimming, so no app to set up and nothing to program.

WHITE ON A PALE WALL

Nematore comes in two painted metal finishes, black and white. The white one settles into a pale wall and the black one stands out against it.

The lamp is 11.8 in (30 cm) wide and 11.8 in (30 cm) high, so either finish reads as one clean shape on the wall.

ONE BULB NO APP

The lamp takes a single E27 bulb, which sits inside the flared shade with its wide opening below.

It is not a smart device, so there is no app to set up and nothing to pair.

THE WALL HOLDS THE LIGHT

Nematore is wall mounted, so the light goes up on the wall and the table below stays free for books and a glass of water.

The lamp is 11.8 in (30 cm) wide and 11.8 in (30 cm) high, so it fills a small patch of wall above a bedside table.

Common questions

What bulb does it take?

It takes one E27 bulb.

Is it dimmable?

No. The lamp is not dimmable, so the bulb you fit decides how the light looks.

Is it a smart light?

No. It is not a smart device, so there is no app and nothing to pair.

Can it be used in a wet location?

No. It is made for dry locations and it is not waterproof, so keep it out of a bathroom. Beside a dressing mirror in a bedroom it does the same job in a dry room.

How big is it?

It is 11.8 in (30 cm) wide and 11.8 in (30 cm) high, so it covers a modest patch of wall beside a bed or a chair.

What finishes does it come in?

Painted metal, black or white. Black stands out on a pale wall, white keeps quiet against one.

How does it go up?

It is a wall mounted lamp, so it fixes to the wall and nothing stands on the table or floor below.
