Description

Neravolo, a frosted glass globe wall lamp

Neravolo is a single frosted glass globe that sits close to the wall, with a cord running down from it. The frosted glass spreads the light across the globe. The cord is 118.1 in (300 cm) long and plugs into an ordinary outlet. A knob switch handles on and off, with no app involved. You fit your own E27 LED bulb, so you decide how warm the light is. The painted finish comes in black or white.

Where to put it

It works beside the bed in place of a nightstand lamp, or on a living room wall above the sofa where a standing lamp would eat floor space. A hallway wall suits it too, as long as an outlet sits within reach of the 118.1 in (300 cm) cord. It is not water resistant, so keep it indoors.

How to install

This lamp goes on the wall and then into an outlet, so nothing joins your house wiring.

What you need: An outlet within reach of the 118.1 in (300 cm) cord, and an E27 LED bulb.

Pick a spot on the wall within 118.1 in (300 cm) of an outlet, since that is how long the cord is.
Assemble the lamp and fix it to the wall at that spot.
Fit an E27 LED bulb. One is not supplied with the lamp.
Plug the cord into the outlet.
Turn the light on at the knob switch.

Good to know

The cord runs 118.1 in (300 cm), so measure from the spot you want to the nearest outlet before you fix the lamp in place.
The lamp is not water resistant, so keep it indoors.

What makes it good

Frosted glass spreads the light across the globe, so a bedroom gets a soft glow.
It plugs into an ordinary outlet, so a living room wall with no wiring in it can still hold a light.
The 118.1 in (300 cm) cord gives you room to reach an outlet that sits well away from the spot you picked in a hallway.
A knob switch turns it on and off. There is no app and no account to set up.
You fit your own E27 LED bulb, so the light in a reading corner is as warm as the bulb you choose.

IT PLUGS IN AND LIGHTS

The lamp plugs into an outlet, so the wall behind it does not have to be wired for a light.

The cord is 118.1 in (300 cm) long, which leaves room between the spot you choose and the outlet it reaches.

YOUR BULB ABOVE THE SOFA

It takes one E27 LED bulb, and the bulb is not included, so you pick the one that suits the room.

The warmth of the light is set by the E27 LED bulb you fit, so that choice is yours and not the lamp's.

UP ON THE HALLWAY WALL

It is wall mounted, so the light comes off the wall rather than from a lamp standing on something below it.

The shade is frosted glass, and the painted finish comes in black or white to suit the wall it goes on.
