Description

Nerisavo, a slim cone on a cord

Nerisavo is a narrow tapered cone that hangs from a black cord under a round wall plate. A short fitting joins the cord to the plate. The cone is only 1.6 in (4 cm) across, so it takes very little width on a tight stretch of wall between cabinets or beside a mirror. The light shows at the clear tip at the lower end. It runs on household power, and a button switch turns it on. The materials are brass and crystal, in polished brass, blackened or silver.

Where to put it

Put one beside a dressing mirror in a bedroom, or a pair with one on each side. Above a hallway console it takes wall space instead of surface space. In a living room it suits the wall over a sideboard or a cabinet. It is an indoor fitting.

How to install

Nerisavo fixes to the wall at its round plate and runs on household power.

What you need: a pencil and a tape measure.

Hold the light where you want it and mark the position of the wall plate.
Fix the plate to the wall.
Connect it to household power.
Press the button to switch it on.

Good to know

Each height is also sold as a set of two, so you can put one on each side of a mirror.
The cone hangs below the plate, so set the plate higher than the height you want the light at.

What makes it good

It runs on household power with no battery, so there is nothing to recharge in a hallway or bedroom.
A push button switch turns it on and off, with no remote to keep track of.
You pick warm white or cool white when you order, so the light can follow the other lamps in a living room.
Two listed heights, 15 in (38 cm) and 21.6 in (55 cm), let you match a short wall beside a dressing mirror or a taller one above a sideboard.
It comes in three finishes, so it can follow the cabinet handles or the mirror frame already in the room.

Nerisavo polished brass LED wall sconce lit in a hallway, cone hanging from one round wall plate

IT HANGS FROM ONE PLATE

The wall fixing is one small round plate. It sits against the wall, with a short fitting projecting below it where the black cord attaches.

The cone hangs from that single point, below the plate. The plate fixes to the wall, and the light runs on household power.

LIT AT THE CLEAR TIP

A push button switch turns Nerisavo on and off. The light then shows at the clear tip at the lower end of the cone.

In the dark the tip glows and a small patch of light falls on the wall close beside it.

THE SIDEBOARD KEEPS ITS SURFACE

In a living room the sconce goes on the wall above a sideboard or a cabinet, with the cone below the plate.

Nothing stands on the surface underneath. The top stays free for the things you keep there.

Common questions

How is it powered?

It runs on 110 to 240 V household power.

How is it switched on?

With a push button switch. No remote is listed with it.

Can I dim it?

As supplied the light has one level and does not dim. Dimming is only possible with a dimming bulb, and no compatible dimming hardware is specified.

What color is the light, and can it change?

You choose warm white or cool white when you order. The two are separate purchase options rather than a setting you switch on the lamp, and no Kelvin values are stated for either.

How does it mount on the wall?

It fixes to the wall at its round plate. The cone then hangs below on its cord.

Can I put it in a bathroom?

It is listed for indoor use, so keep it out of a bathroom.

Which size should I choose?

Two heights are listed, 15 in (38 cm) and 21.6 in (55 cm). The shorter one suits a tight spot such as the wall beside a dressing mirror, and the taller one covers more of a bare wall above a console or a sideboard. Each height is also sold as a set of two if you want one on each side.

What is it made of?

Brass and crystal. The three finishes are polished brass, blackened and silver, and the cord below the plate is black.
