Description

Nevilmo, a resin octopus tentacle wall light

Nevilmo is an octopus tentacle that curls up the wall from a round base shaped like a porthole. Pale suction cups run along its textured front. The light sits in the open at the tip, so the light itself becomes part of the piece. Because it's a plug-in light, the cord runs to a wall outlet.

Where to put it

Put it on a living room wall where people will see it, on a study wall above a desk, or in a hallway next to a bookshelf or doorway. It also works in a game room or a bedroom. The cord plugs into an outlet, so pick a wall with one in reach.

Size and details

Type: octopus-tentacle wall light, plug-in
Power: plug-in, the cord plugs into a wall outlet

How to install

Nevilmo is a wall-mounted light that plugs in, so it needs a spot on the wall with a wall outlet nearby.

Choose a spot on the wall where the cord can reach a wall outlet.
Once it is on the wall, plug the cord into the outlet.

Good to know

Pick the spot on the wall with a wall outlet in mind, because the cord plugs into one.
The light sits exposed at the tip of the tentacle, so the light itself is part of the look.

What makes it good

Its cord plugs into a wall outlet, so a living room or bedroom wall with an outlet nearby can take it.
The light rests uncovered at the tip of the tentacle, so on a study wall the light itself becomes part of the piece.
With its curling tentacle and suction cups, it puts a piece of sculpture on a hallway or study wall as well as a light.
The round porthole base and the curling tentacle give a bedroom wall a nautical look.
The red tentacle adds a spot of color to a living room or game room wall.
