Nimarlo Rechargeable Wall Sconce

$99.00

Light spills out of both ends of the clear rod and leaves a glow on the wall above and below it. Beside a sofa or a bed, the room gets light with no lamp on the table.

No outlet or wiring needed on that wall: it is powered by a rechargeable battery that you charge with a USB cable.
Switch it on right where you stand: a touch control sits on the sconce.
A lower light when you want one: the sconce is dimmable.

Description

Nimarlo, a gold sconce with a clear acrylic rod

Nimarlo is a clear acrylic rod set in front of a rectangular backplate, finished in gold. When it is on, the rod sends light both up and down, and the wall glows above and below the sconce. It runs on a rechargeable battery that you charge with a USB cable, so it works as a cordless light away from any outlet. A touch control switches it on and off. The light is also dimmable.

Where to put it

Mount it next to a bed instead of a table lamp, or on a hallway or entryway wall with no outlet. In a living room, it goes on the wall beside a sofa. The light falls on the wall above and below it, and the side table stays free.

Size and details

Type: wall sconce with upward and downward light, rechargeable
Sizes: about 15.4 in (39 cm) tall, rod 1.6 in (4 cm) across
Backplate: rectangular, 7.1 in (18 cm) tall
Material: clear acrylic rod, gold finish
Dimming: dimmable
Control: touch control
Power: rechargeable battery, charged with a USB cable
Mounting: wall mounted

How to install

Nimarlo fixes to the wall and runs on its own rechargeable battery, so there is nothing to connect to your house wiring.

Charge the battery with a USB cable.
Fix the sconce to the wall where you want the light.
Touch the control to switch it on.

Good to know

The light shines up and down, so leave some clear wall above and below the sconce.
Running it below full brightness makes each charge last longer, so a lower setting means charging it less often.

What makes it good

Because it has a rechargeable battery, it can go on a hallway wall far from any socket, with no cable to bury.
Light shines from both ends of the rod, which suits a living room wall next to a sofa.
It is dimmable, which suits the wall beside the bed in a bedroom at the end of the day.
The touch control is on the light itself, so in a hallway or by the bed you switch the light right there.
At 1.6 in (4 cm) across, the rod is slim.

The light is dimmable, which gives the wall beside the bed a low glow at the end of the day.

SOFA WALL LIT TWO WAYS

On the wall beside a sofa, the rod lights the wall above the sconce and below it.
