Nolavire Rechargeable Wall Sconce (Set of 2)

Nolavire, a rechargeable fluted glass wall sconce

Nolavire holds a clear glass shade out from the wall on a gold swing arm. The glass is deeply fluted and ends in a scalloped edge shaped like petals. The bulb is visible through it, so light shows through the sides and falls straight down from the open bottom of the shade. It runs on a rechargeable battery that you charge with a USB cable. You turn it on and off with the touch switch. Brightness dims smoothly, and the white light goes from a warm 3000K to a cool 6000K. The round backplate and the metal body share the same gold finish.

Where to put it

Hang it on a bedroom wall beside the headboard, where the swing arm can bring the light toward the pillow. It also works on a living room wall next to a sofa or armchair. Since a rechargeable battery runs it, you can put it in a hallway or on a landing with no outlet nearby.

This sconce fixes to the wall and runs on a rechargeable battery, so nothing connects to your house wiring.

1. Fix the sconce to the wall at the height you want.
2. Fit the included LED bulb, which has an E27 base, inside the glass shade.
3. Adjust the swing arm so the light falls where you want it.
4. Turn it on with the touch switch.
5. Set the brightness and the white you like.

Good to know

• The charging port is on the bulb, so that is where the USB cable goes when the light needs charging.
• It has a timer function and a memory mode. Set the timer when you want the light to go off on its own at bedtime.

• Because it runs on a rechargeable battery, you can put it on a living room wall without a cord running down to an outlet.
• Use warm 3000K white in a bedroom at night and cool 6000K for crisper light in a hallway, or set it steplessly anywhere in between.
• The swing arm adjusts, so you can bring the light toward the pillow when it hangs beside a bed.
• Brightness runs smoothly from 10% to 100%, which lets a hallway light sit at a low glow late in the evening.
• With the light off, the clear fluted glass, scalloped edge and gold backplate still look finished on a bedroom or living room wall.
