Description

Orsilen, a small rechargeable wall spotlight

Orsilen is a small LED spotlight. The head turns through 360 degrees, so you can point the light at the wall, a shelf or the chair next to it. You can also take the head off the base and put it on a table. A rechargeable battery that charges over USB powers it, so there's no cord on the wall. The remote that comes with it switches the brightness between low, medium and high. The body is ABS and comes in black or white.

Where to put it

Put it on the bedroom wall next to the bed, or on the living room wall beside an armchair. It also works on a hallway shelf or a stair wall far from an outlet. You can take the head off and set it on a desk or nightstand. It's made for indoor use.

How to install

Orsilen comes in two parts: a base that fixes to the wall and a lamp head that holds onto it by magnet. Nothing connects to your house electrics.

Fix the base to the wall with adhesive stickers or with screws.
Attach the lamp head to its base.
Turn the head to aim the light where you want it.
Use the remote to set the brightness to low, medium or high.

Good to know

Adhesive stickers let you put the base up without drilling, or use screws if you prefer.
It recharges over USB.

What makes it good

Because it has a rechargeable battery, you can put it on a bedroom wall even if there's no outlet near the bed.
In a living room you can change the brightness from the sofa, since the remote sets it to low, medium or high.
When you want the light closer, the head comes off its base and stands on a desk or side table.
Turn the head through 360 degrees to aim it at a hallway shelf or at the seat of an armchair.
It measures 3.1 in (7.8 cm) by 2.4 in (6.2 cm).

FROM WALL TO TABLETOP
