Retomira Rechargeable Table Lamp

$124.00

Light spills from under the broad dome and settles softly on the table around it. Beside the sofa or the bed, it gives the room a gentle glow instead of a bright overhead light.

Free of cords while it glows: a rechargeable battery runs it once you charge it over USB.
No bulb or cable to buy: the light and a USB charging cable come with it.
Low light for the end of the day: touch dimming lets you bring the brightness down.

Description

Retomira, a small rechargeable domed table lamp

Retomira is 11.6 in (29.5 cm) tall and sits on a round base. A broad dome shade rides above a smaller rounded section on a slim stem, with a small silver-colored finial at the top. Light comes out of the gap under the dome and falls on the lower section and the surface around it. A touch turns it on and also sets the brightness. Charge it over USB and it then works with nothing plugged in. The colors are white, green, yellow, red, gray and pink.

Where to put it

It works on a nightstand for a low light at bedtime, on a side table next to the sofa in the living room, or on a hallway console with no outlet close by. A bookshelf or the corner of a desk also suits it, where a taller lamp would crowd the surface.

Size and details

Type: table lamp for soft atmosphere light, rechargeable
Sizes: 11.6 in (29.5 cm) tall, shade 6.3 in (16 cm) across
Base: round
Light source: LED, included
Brightness: under 60 lumens
Dimming: yes, by touch
Control: touch on and off, touch dimming
Charging: USB
In the box: lamp with the LED inside and a USB charging cable

How to use

Retomira needs a charge before you use it, and after that you run it with a touch.

What you need: The USB cable used to charge the lamp's battery.

Take the lamp and the USB charging cable out of the box.
Charge the lamp's battery with the USB cable.
When it has charged, unplug the cable so the lamp runs on its battery.
Stand the lamp on its round base on a nightstand, side table or shelf.
Touch the lamp to switch it on, and touch it again to switch it off.
Use the same touch control to turn the light down or back up.

Good to know

It puts out under 60 lumens, which makes it a soft atmosphere light and not the main light for a room.
It runs on its battery once charged, so you can move it from the nightstand to a side table without finding an outlet.

What makes it good

It runs on its own charge, so you can stand it on a hallway shelf with no outlet nearby.
A touch turns it on, and touching it also brings it down to a low level for a bedroom at night.
Under 60 lumens, it gives soft light next to a sofa in the evening instead of lighting the whole living room.
At 11.6 in (29.5 cm) tall it fits on a nightstand or a narrow console without using much of the surface.
The LED is built in and a USB charging cable comes in the box.

ONE TOUCH CHANGES THE BRIGHTNESS

One touch switches Retomira on, and that control also sets how bright it is.

A LAMP FOR NARROW SHELVES

Retomira is 11.6 in (29.5 cm) tall with a shade 6.3 in (16 cm) across, so it takes only a small part of a narrow hallway shelf.

It has a round base, so it stands on a console or a shelf with space left beside it for keys and post.
