Description

Rimolen, a feather shade bedside table lamp

Rimolen adds a soft, textured accent to a bedroom. Its broad, rounded shade is covered in layers of feathers and sits on a narrow stem over three splayed legs. With the lamp on, light shows between the feathers and falls on the table under the shade, so you can still see the texture. The body is iron and the legs have a gold finish. The shade comes in light pink, white or gray. The cord plugs into a wall outlet, and an on and off switch controls the lamp. It isn't dimmable, so it is either on or off.

Where to put it

Put it on a nightstand beside the bed, which is what it was made for, or on a side table next to the sofa in the living room. Choose a spot where a wall outlet is within reach of the cord. The shade is 11.8 in (30 cm) across, so it needs a table with some room around it. It is made for indoor use.
