Description

Saneviro: a slim wall light for reading

Saneviro is a tall, narrow wall lamp with a rectangular metal shade, 7.1 in (18 cm) tall. A 3 W LED sits behind a lens inside and gives 165 lumens. A switch on the fixture turns the light on and off, and the light stays at one level. The body and the shade are metal, aluminum in a black finish. It fixes to the face of the wall, so the table below keeps all its room and the light sits at the height you read at.

Where to put it

Beside the bed is the obvious spot, fixed to the wall at reading height. It also works above a desk in a home office, or on the living room wall next to an armchair. It is rated IP20 and made for indoor use only.

How to install

Saneviro is a surface mounted wall lamp, so it goes onto the face of the wall.

What you need: A spot on the wall where the lamp can be surface mounted.

Pick the wall for it, indoors, and hold the lamp up to settle the height you read at.
Fix the lamp to the wall surface at that spot.
Press the switch on the lamp to turn the light on.

Good to know

It is rated IP20 and made for indoor use only, and it is not waterproof.
The light is not dimmable, so choose a spot where one steady level suits you, such as beside the bed.

What makes it good

The lamp fixes to the wall surface, so a bedroom nightstand keeps its space for books and a glass of water.
You switch it on at the lamp itself, which helps at a bedside when you want the light off without crossing the room.
It gives 165 lumens at one steady level, the same in bed as in an armchair.
Aluminum in a black finish, with a plain rectangular shade that stays quiet on a bedroom or living room wall.
At 7.1 in (18 cm) it needs only a narrow strip of wall, so it fits beside a bed, a desk or a reading chair.

MOUNTED ON THE READING WALL

Saneviro is surface mounted. The lamp fixes to the face of the wall beside the bed, at the height you read at.

The shade is a plain metal rectangle, so it asks for a narrow strip of wall and the table below keeps its surface.

ONE BUTTON DOES IT

The lamp is switch controlled. The round control below the shade is what turns the light on and off, so you reach for the lamp itself.

There is no dimming to set. The light comes on at one level and stays there until you press the switch again.

LIGHT OVER A CLEAR DESK

After dark the light comes out of a small lens at the end of the shade. It gives 165 lumens.

Because it is wall mounted above the desk, the desktop is left clear for your work.

It is surface mounted, so the lamp fixes to the face of the wall.
