Description

Sarivol, a stone up and down sconce

Sarivol is a low rectangle of natural stone, beige with darker pits across its face. The LED sits hidden behind the stone, so all you see is the stone itself. Light comes out above and below the stone and sends warm beams up and down the wall. The color is a warm 3000K, and the LED is included with the fixture. Sarivol is hardwired, meaning it connects to the house wiring at the wall, so you won't see a cord. It can't be dimmed, and it isn't a smart device. It comes 8.7 in (22 cm) or 12.6 in (32 cm) wide, and each width has an indoor and an outdoor version.

Where to put it

Mount it on the wall beside the bed, along a stair wall, or in a hallway that could use a low accent light. On a longer stretch of living room wall, choose the 12.6 in (32 cm) width. For a porch or garden wall, pick the outdoor version, which is waterproof and rated IP65.

How to install

Sarivol is hardwired: it connects to the house wiring at the wall.

Choose the indoor version for a wall inside the house, or the outdoor version for an outside wall.
The sconce is connected to the house wiring at the wall.
The LED light source is included, so there is no bulb to fit once the sconce is connected.

Good to know

Indoor and outdoor are separate versions, so pick the one for where the sconce will go.
There are two widths: 8.7 in (22 cm) and 12.6 in (32 cm).

What makes it good

Because it is hardwired into the house wiring at the wall, there is no cord hanging down the wall beside your bed.
One fixture sends light both up and down, so a stair wall gets warm light above and below the stone after dark.
The warm 3000K light works well in a bedroom in the evening or in a hallway you walk through at night.
The natural stone face gives real texture to a plain wall in a living room or along the stairs.
With two widths and an outdoor version, the same design fits a narrow hallway wall inside and an outside wall by the door.

NOT A CORD IN SIGHT

Sarivol is hardwired, connected to the house wiring at the wall, so no cord runs down the wall below it.

Its LED light source is included with the sconce.

UPWARD AND DOWNWARD BEAMS

One fixture sends light both upward and downward, so a single stone face lights the wall above and below it.

It gives warm 3000K light, the same tone whenever it is on.

SITS SHALLOW BY THE STEPS

The 8.7 in (22 cm) outdoor version measures 2.0 in (5 cm) deep, so it sits close to the wall beside the steps.

It is 8.7 in (22 cm) wide and 3.1 in (8 cm) high, a small rectangle of natural stone on the wall.
