Description

Sarovel, a small gold-tone figurine table lamp

Sarovel is a seated figure with its feet stretched out in front. Its long arms reach up to a tapered shade that sits where its head would be. The LED light shines from under the shade, so it falls over the figure and spreads a small pool across the table. The lamp has a rechargeable battery. You charge it with a USB cable and then use it cordless, with touch control and three brightness levels. The gold-tone finish is reflective and catches the light in the room even when the lamp is off.

Where to put it

Put it on a nightstand as a night light, or on a desk or dresser where you want a small light and something to look at. It also fits comfortably between books on a living room shelf. Since it runs on its battery, it doesn't need to sit near an outlet. It is made for indoor use.

How to use

Charge Sarovel, then set it where you want the light and switch it on by touch.

Charge the battery with a USB cable.
Set the lamp on a nightstand, a desk or a shelf.
Switch it on with the touch control.
Choose one of the three brightness levels.

Good to know

It does not need to stay plugged in while it is lit, so the spot you choose does not have to be near an outlet.
Pick the lowest of the three brightness levels when you want only a little light at bedtime.

What makes it good

Because its battery is rechargeable, it can go on a bedroom shelf or a study desk with no outlet nearby.
With three brightness levels, you can keep it low on a nightstand at bedtime and turn it up on a desk in the evening.
It has touch control, so you switch it on and off at the lamp itself, right beside the bed.
It is 6.3 in (16 cm) tall, small enough to fit between books on a living room shelf or on a small bedside table.
With its reflective gold-tone finish and seated figure, it still looks good on a desk or a dresser when the light is off.
