Description

Sevalira, a rounded shade on the wall

Sevalira is a rounded shell that stands forward from the wall, shaped more like a smooth pebble than a globe. The surface picks up the room around it, so you notice the lamp as an object on the wall even while it is off. Switched on, the bulb inside sends warm white light through the shell and lays it on the wall around the lamp. One touch turns it on, another turns it off. It comes in gold, rose gold, smoke gray and silver, so you can pick whichever suits your walls and furniture.

Where to put it

Put it on a hallway wall, where it reads as an object by day and a warm light in the evening. Beside the bed it sits on the wall and leaves the nightstand clear. Above a sofa it adds warm light to the living room after dark. Keep it indoors and away from moisture.

Common questions

Does a bulb come in the box?

Yes. An LED bulb comes with the lamp, so you have light the first evening without buying anything.

What bulb fitting does it take?

It takes an E27 bulb, and one LED bulb with that base comes with the lamp.

Can I dim it?

No. The lamp is not dimmable, so it comes on at one level every time and you set the feel of the room with your other lights.

Is there a remote?

No remote comes with it. The lamp itself is the switch: one touch turns it on and another turns it off, so there is nothing extra to keep on the nightstand.

Which finishes can I pick?

Gold, rose gold, smoke gray and silver.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is made for indoor use away from moisture, so keep it out of a bathroom. Put it on a bedroom wall beside a dressing mirror instead.

Is there anything to assemble?

No. It arrives as one piece and mounts on the wall as it is.

What color is the light?

Warm white.
