Sonatire holds a wide open cone out from a round wall backplate that measures 4.7 in (11.9 cm) across. Two jointed arm sections carry it, each about 10.3 in (26.2 cm). Swing the arms, tilt the shade, and the light lands where you want it, down on a desk or out into the room. It runs on AC power from an ordinary outlet, 90 to 260 V, through a cord about 72.0 in (182.9 cm) long, and an inline switch turns it on and off. The body and shade are iron in black, with gold-colored joints and socket housing.
