Sorlimo Rechargeable Wall Sconce

$82.00

Hung on the wall, it looks more like a piece of modern art than a lamp, with gold rods rising higher on one side. At night it spreads a warm glow across the wall around it.

Light where there is no outlet: a rechargeable battery runs it, and it charges over USB.
Turn it on right where it hangs: a touch switch sits on the lamp.
A gold accent that dresses up a plain wall: an iron body in a gold-tone plated finish with acrylic light sections.

Description

Sorlimo, a gold rechargeable LED wall sconce

Sorlimo has slim gold rods and white acrylic light sections that rise higher on one side of a rectangular central housing than on the other, so it looks as much like wall art as a light. When it is on, the acrylic casts a warm white glow onto the wall around it. A touch switch controls it, and it cannot be dimmed. Its rechargeable battery charges with a USB cable, so it stays cordless on the wall. The body is iron with a gold-tone plated finish.

Where to put it

Put it beside the bed instead of a table lamp, or on a living room wall for warm accent light in the evening. Since it is a battery light, it also works on a hallway or landing wall with no outlet nearby. It is made for indoor wall lighting.

How to install

Sorlimo fixes to the wall and runs on its own battery, so nothing connects to your house electrics.

Charge the battery over USB.
Fix the lamp to the wall.
Touch the switch to turn it on.

Good to know

It can go up vertically or horizontally, so pick whichever suits the wall.
It is not dimmable: one touch turns it on and another turns it off.

What makes it good

Because it uses a rechargeable battery, a hallway or landing wall with no outlet can still have its own light.
You control it with a touch switch on the lamp, whether it hangs beside the bed or on a living room wall.
The warm white light suits a bedroom or living room in the evening.
It fixes to the wall upright or on its side, so it fits next to a headboard or along a hallway.
You can order it with the right side higher or the left side higher, so two of them either side of a sofa make a matching pair.

RODS LIT AT A TOUCH

A touch switch on the lamp controls the light.

RODS LEVEL ABOVE THE DESK

The lamp can be fixed to the wall standing upright or turned on its side, so it suits a tall narrow strip of wall or a long low one.
