Dark veins wander across pale marble, so no two discs look quite alike. Even with the light off, it hangs on your wall like a quiet piece of art.

Nothing but the disc on view: it is wired into your household power, so no cord shows.
Light at a touch, right at the wall: touch the metal center to turn it on or off.
Warm light for winding down: the LED built into the fixture gives a warm glow, never a cold one.

Description

Talemio, a marble disc with warm light

The marble pattern is visible even when the light is off. Dark, irregular veins cross the white to cream disc, and a small polished metal accent sits at the center. When switched on, warm light spreads through parts of the stone and forms a halo on the surrounding wall. Touch the center to turn the light on or off. The fixture connects directly to household power. Choose Chrome or Gold against the pale marble. The stone's natural pattern varies from piece to piece.

Where to put it

Place the sconce beside a bed, or fit a vertical pair either side of the headboard. On a living room wall it gives warm light in the evening, and in a dining room the stone pattern shows above the table. It is for indoor use and is not waterproof.

How to install

This sconce is intended for permanent wall placement.

What you need: An AC 110 to 240V wall connection and an electrician.

Have an electrician install the fixture on the wall and connect it directly to household power.

Good to know

Choose a position where the center is within easy reach.
Dust the marble gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid household cleaners and excess moisture.

What makes it good

Warm light comes through the stone, which suits a living room in the evening.
The center is the switch, so the light goes on and off at the fixture itself.
The natural veining creates a visible pattern on a dining room wall even when the light is off.
The smallest disc suits a narrow stretch of wall beside a door, the largest holds a wide living room wall.
One disc or a vertical pair works on a bedroom or living room wall.

ONLY THE DISC SHOWS

The sconce is wired into the household supply, so its power connection is part of the installation rather than something you see.

On the dining room wall the veined disc and its polished center are the only thing above the table. No cord runs down beneath it.

SWITCHED ON AT THE FIXTURE

The polished metal center is the switch. Touch it and the light comes on, touch it again and it goes off.

Lit, warm light comes through portions of the marble. The glow shows at the polished center too.
