Description

Tarmela, a rechargeable globe that glows in color

Tarmela is a smooth, round globe that sits directly on a table without a stem or stand. The LED light shines through the whole shell. You can choose from 16 light colors, including white, and set the brightness with the included remote. A power switch turns it on and off. Because its battery is rechargeable, the lamp stays cordless while it is lit. Charge it with the USB cable in the box, then put it on a nightstand, a coffee table or a patio table.

Where to put it

Use it as a night light on a nightstand, put it on a coffee table or bookshelf in the living room, or set it on a sideboard at dinner. It is suitable outdoors too, so it can also sit on a patio or porch table for an evening outside.

What makes it good

The rechargeable battery lets you carry it from the living room to the bedroom without hunting for an outlet.
There are 16 light colors, including white, so one globe can give the living room a different mood from one evening to the next.
With the brightness turned down on the remote, it works as a night light on a bedroom nightstand.
It comes in three globe sizes, from 5.9 in (15 cm) for a nightstand up to 9.8 in (25 cm) for a coffee table or sideboard.
It is made for use inside and out, so you can set it on a patio table for an evening outside and bring it back in afterward.

A GLOW WITH NO CORD

Tarmela has a rechargeable battery that charges with a USB cable, so nothing runs to an outlet while it glows.

That lets it stand on a coffee table in the middle of the room, away from the walls where the outlets are.

A NEW COLOR EACH EVENING

The light switches between 16 colors, white among them, so the same globe can glow a different color from one evening to the next.
