Taselvo Plug-in Table Lamp

$198.00

Like a little sculpture on your side table, a glossy shade hangs from a thin pole that curves over the top. It gives a dresser or side table something nice to look at all day.

A glow without a bare bulb in view: the bulb is tucked inside the glass shade.
Choose your own brightness: it takes a bulb you buy separately, and the lamp itself does not dim.
Goes on any table near an outlet: the cord plugs into a regular wall outlet.

Description

Taselvo, a glass shade on a curved stem

Taselvo is a table lamp with a glossy oval glass shade that hangs from a slender metal pole. The pole rises from a low white base, curves over the top and bends again near the base. Where it meets the shade, there is a small flared cap. Turn the knob and light spreads across the surface of the shade while the bulb stays hidden inside. The lamp takes an E27 LED bulb, sold separately, and its cord plugs into a wall outlet. It does not dim. You can have a gold-tone pole with a beige shade, or a chrome pole with a pink shade.

Where to put it

Put it on a nightstand, a living room side table, a desk or a hallway console, anywhere the cord can reach a wall outlet. It is 16.1 in (41 cm) tall. It is for indoor use in dry rooms such as a bedroom, a living room or a study.

Size and details

Type: table lamp, plug-in

Light source: E27 socket for an LED bulb
Dimming: not dimmable

Power: plug-in, the cord plugs into a wall outlet

How to use

Taselvo stands on its own base on a table and runs from a wall outlet.

What you need: an E27 LED bulb, bought separately.

Put an E27 LED bulb in the socket.
Stand the lamp on a table and plug its cord into a wall outlet.
Turn the knob to switch the lamp on and off.

Good to know

The bulb is not in the box, so buy an E27 LED bulb along with the lamp.
The lamp does not dim, so choose a bulb with the brightness you want from the start.

What makes it good

It runs from a wall outlet, so it works on a living room side table or a bedroom nightstand that has an outlet nearby.
The bulb sits hidden inside the shade, so on a nightstand at night you see the glowing shade, not a bare bulb.
A plain knob switch turns it on, and there is no app or pairing, so anyone in the house can switch it on in the living room.
You pick the E27 LED bulb yourself, which lets you decide how much light it gives on a desk or a hallway console.
It comes in two finishes. The gold-tone pole with a beige shade suits a wood dresser, and the chrome pole with a pink shade suits a white desk.

Taselvo gold and beige plug in table lamp glowing on a hallway console

GLOW FROM A NEARBY OUTLET

Taselvo is a plug in lamp, so a table with space for its cord is all it needs.

Set it on a hallway console and let its cord trail behind it.

A KNOB LIGHTS THE SHADE

A knob switch turns Taselvo on and off. It is not a smart device, so there is no app and nothing to pair.

It does not dim, so the bulb you put in sets the level of light.
