Tavirelo Rechargeable Wall Sconce

$178.00

Bands of light and bright flecks spread across your wall from the cut crystal shade, with a softer glow around them. Even a plain hallway wall becomes something to look at.

Light on a wall with no socket nearby: a built-in rechargeable battery runs it, so no wiring is needed.
Enough light for the room too: the cut shade sends light out into the room as well as onto the wall.
Warm at night, clear white when you need it: you set it from the remote that comes with it.

Description

Tavirelo, a cordless crystal wall light

Tavirelo has a faceted crystal shade at the top of a slender iron stem, held out on a short arm from a round backplate 4.7 in (12 cm) across. The cut shade breaks the light into vertical bands and bright flecks on the wall, with a softer spread around them. It runs on a rechargeable battery, so the wall it goes on needs no socket, and the remote takes the light from warm 3000K to cool 6000K or into RGB colors. It comes in black, gold or silver.

Where to put it

Put a pair either side of the bed in place of table lamps, or one in a hallway on a wall the wiring never reached. In a living room it works as a second light for the evening beside a sofa or an armchair. It is made for indoor walls.

How to install

The lamp runs on its built-in rechargeable battery and goes up with the hardware supplied, so the wall you choose does not need a socket.

What you need: the mounting hardware supplied with the lamp, and the usual tools for fixing to your wall type.

Charge the lamp with the cable that comes with it before you put it up.
Hold the lamp against the wall at the height you want and mark its position. The shade sits at the top of the stem, so hold it lower than you first think.
Fix it to the wall with the mounting hardware supplied.
Check the bulb is seated in its socket.
Switch it on and set the light from the remote.

Good to know

If you are putting up a pair either side of a bed, mark the same height on both sides before you fix anything.
Leave clear wall either side of the shade so the pattern it throws has somewhere to land.

What makes it good

It is wireless, so a stretch of hallway wall with nothing to plug into still gets light.
The remote takes the light from warm white for a bedroom evening to cool white when you want to see clearly, and into RGB colors.
The bulb gives 1500 lumens at 15 W, and the cut shade puts that light out into the room as well as onto the wall.
The faceted shade breaks the light into vertical bands and flecks, which makes the wall itself part of what you see at a bedside.
It comes in black, gold or silver, so the frame can match the other metal in a hallway or living room.

Tavirelo Rechargeable Wall Sconce

$178.00

Tavirelo black wireless wall light on an uninterrupted hallway wall with no outlet needed

RUNS WITHOUT AN OUTLET

The lamp carries its own battery, so it can go on a hallway wall that has no socket and no switch near it.

The round backplate sits flat against the wall and the hardware supplied holds it there. No cord runs down from it to a socket.

WARM LIGHT OR COOL WHITE

The remote moves the light from warm 3000K to cool 6000K, so the same lamp gives a warm evening light or a cool white when you want to see clearly.

It also has RGB color modes for the wall. Set warm, the light reads yellow at the shade and on the wall around it, which suits an evening with the main light off.

Tavirelo silver battery operated wall sconce lit above an empty bedroom nightstand

KEEPS THE NIGHTSTAND CLEAR

Mounted beside the bed, it lights the corner from the wall and leaves the whole top of the nightstand free.

It sits at about the height of a reading light next to the bed, with the nightstand top left for whatever you keep there.

Common questions

Does it need wiring or an outlet?

No. It runs on its built-in rechargeable battery, so the wall you choose does not need a socket or any wiring run to it.

How does it attach to the wall?

It fixes to the wall with the mounting hardware supplied with the lamp. The round backplate, 4.7 in (12 cm) across, is the part that sits against the wall.

How do I charge it?

The charging cable comes with the lamp. Plug it into the lamp to charge the battery, and charge it before you put the lamp up.

Can I change the color of the light?

Yes. The remote moves the light anywhere from warm 3000K to cool 6000K, and it also has RGB color modes if you want the wall in color rather than white.

How bright is it?

The bulb is 15 W and gives 1500 lumens through the crystal shade.

Can I replace the bulb?

Yes. It takes a standard E27 LED bulb and one is included, so if it ever fails you change the bulb instead of the lamp.

What is it made of?

An iron frame with a faceted crystal shade, in black, gold or silver.

Should I buy one or the set of two?

One suits a hallway wall or a single spot in a living room. The set of two is for a bed with a wall on each side, or any place you want the same light mirrored at matching heights.
