Teselma is a circular travertine disc, 8.5 in (21.5 cm) across, with a smooth white globe set out from the center. Below the globe, an open wedge shaped section is cut into the stone. The globe glows, and what you keep looking at is the pale, pitted stone around it. Through the opening hangs a dark beaded chain with a 3.1 in (8 cm) wooden handle: pull it to turn the light on and off. The socket takes one G9 light source, so the bulb is your choice.

Where to put it

Hang it beside the bed at about the height you read at, or above the seating in a living room where there is no room for a table lamp. In a hallway, the 8.5 in (21.5 cm) disc fits a short stretch of wall. It is made for indoor rooms.
