Timarno Woven Sheep Throw Blanket

$120.00

A flock of white sheep grazes across a mottled green field, with olive and tan patches drifting toward one side. Draped on a sofa or an armchair, it gives the room a gentle country feel.

Real woven texture, not a flat print: the sheep and meadow are formed by interlaced dyed yarns.
No guessing what it covers: it is a throw size for a lap, sofa or chair, not a full bed.
Washes at home when it gets messy: it goes in the washing machine on a gentle cycle.

Description

Timarno, a woven jacquard throw with sheep

Timarno is a woven throw with white sheep scattered across a green meadow and olive and tan patches toward one side. The scene is a jacquard made from dyed yarns, so the threads themselves form the sheep. Up close you can see the colored yarns interlaced. The fabric is a polyester and cotton blend, and at 51 × 63 in (130 × 160 cm) it is a throw size for the sofa or an armchair. The edges are finished with fringe, and on the sofa it falls into broad folds. When it needs a wash, put it in the machine on a gentle cycle.

Where to use it

Spread it across the sofa seat or drape it over an armchair in a reading corner. It also works folded at the foot of the bed or laid open along a window seat bench. At 51 × 63 in (130 × 160 cm) it is sized for a lap, a sofa or a chair and is too small to cover a full or queen bed.

A WOVEN MEADOW FOR READING

The sheep scene is a woven jacquard. The yarns are dyed before they are woven, so the threads themselves form the white sheep and the meadow around them.

Held upright indoors you can see the white sheep and fringed edges. The throw is a polyester and cotton blend.

A MEADOW ACROSS THE SOFA

Timarno measures 51 × 63 in (130 × 160 cm), a throw size. Laid open on the sofa, it spreads across the seat with room to drape.

It is a rectangle, so the long side runs along the seat and the short side falls over the cushions.
