Tirelan, a slim rechargeable light bar

Tirelan is a slim bar with rounded ends and a long pale face set inside a dark border. A compact holder fixes to the wall and carries the bar, flat over a desk or on end beside furniture. The angle adjusts, so the light drops onto the surface below. A touch control on the housing switches it on, and the lamp is portable, so it can be moved to another spot. The rechargeable battery charges from the USB cable.

Where to put it

Put it on the wall over a desk in a home office, or above a living room shelf so the light falls over the books. Indoors it also works in a bedroom, on the wall beside the bed where the table below stays clear.

How to install

The holder goes on the wall and the bar goes up on it. Nothing here connects to your house electrics.

What you need: the lamp, its wall holder and the mounting hardware in the box.

Hold the bar against the wall where you want it and check the height.
Fix the holder to the wall at that spot with the adhesive tape.
Mount the bar on the holder and set the angle until the light falls where you want it.
Switch the light on with the touch control.

Good to know

The lamp is made for indoor use at home or in an office.
Keep the wall clear on the side the lit face is turned towards, so nothing blocks the light.

LIFT IT OFF THE HOLDER

The bar sits on its holder and lifts off it, so the light does not have to stay on the wall. It runs on its own battery, so there is nothing to unplug before you pick it up.

The lit face runs along the 12.6 in (32 cm) bar, so on a shelf or a side table it lays down a long band of light. Put it back on the holder when you are done with it.

No. It is wireless: the power sits inside the bar, and the holder goes on the wall with nothing connected to your house electrics.
