Pull the arm out and turn the shade to aim warm light at a desk, a book or a work surface. It is hardwired into your wall wiring, so no cord hangs down the wall below it. It takes an E27 LED light source rated 60 to 249 lumens. The shade has a baked paint finish in cream or orange, which gives a plain wall a soft spot of color.
