Vesarilo, a slim black bar of wall light

Vesarilo is a thin black bar with a short rectangular plate across it, set away from the middle so one side runs longer than the other. Switch it on and the wall behind it glows in a long band while the front face stays dark. It carries its charge inside, so nothing runs back to your house wiring, and you refill it over USB from a wall adapter, a laptop or a power bank. Touch it to set the brightness. The light switches between warm, neutral and cool white.

Where to put it

Put one on each side of the bed in place of a table lamp, or above a console in a hallway where the wall has no socket. It works as accent light beside a picture or a dressing mirror, and as a second light in a living room. Indoor use only.

How to install

The plate goes on the wall first and the light attaches to it. Nothing connects to your house electrics.

What you need: the USB cable from the box, and screws or adhesive to fix the plate to your wall.

Charge the light over USB before you put it up.
Hold it against the wall at the height you want and mark where the plate sits. The bar runs longer on one side of the plate, so allow for that longer end.
Fix the plate to the wall with screws or with adhesive.
Attach the light to the plate. It comes off the same way when you want to charge it again.
Touch the light to switch it on and set the brightness you want.

Good to know

The light lands on the wall above and below the plate, so leave clear wall at both ends of the bar.
The timer switches the light off on its own, which helps beside a bed at night.
