Vimolen, an adjustable swing arm wall sconce

Vimolen has a broad, shallow black dome on a brass-colored arm that extends from a black rectangular backplate. If you look up into the shade, you can see that the inside of the dome is light-colored. The head tilts 90° and turns 360°, and the arm swings through 180°. That lets you point the light at a chair, a desk or the wall itself, then move it again when the room changes. The cord plugs into a wall outlet, and a switch on the backplate turns it on and off.

Where to put it

Put it next to an armchair or sofa in the living room so you can swing the dome over a book. Beside the bed, it can replace a table lamp. It also works on the wall above a desk in a home office or study. Pick a wall within reach of an outlet.
